Here are some shots I had taken before I left Penang in my small studio that I've just uploaded.

This time I decided to use a different background, after seeing how pros in a modeling seem to change the background to match either the hair, outfit or the theme of the shoot. This was a lot easier to do with figurines as full size backdrop for real modeling shoots are VERY expensive.

I also saw that I wasn't the only one who had tried this out as many others on flickr had done this as well. Anyway, here are my shots. For this time I went out and bought some rose flower patterns present wrapping to use as background.

The new background really help spiced up the shot unlike the my previous attempts which simply used a black and boring background, if this was the Haruhi bunny suit version then maybe the black background would have been better.

After a while, I decided to try something different and tried to blur out the background using my Nikon 50mm f/1.8 to play some bokeh. A better idea would have been to use a true macro lens, but I already sold off mine to help fund other purchases back then.

Here is the shot where I tried to blurred out the background. I like how this one turned out.

Well that's it for now with the "controlled studio shoots", so until then pleasant dreams~!
